❖General

• Be respectful to all members, including staff. This is meant to be a fun and enjoyable site so being disrespectful will only result you being blocked from the site. Along with this no topics relating to real life, like politics, or such things will not be tolerated. Those things don't make any difference here and aren't needed to be discussed.
  
  
• Follow all the rules and guidelines. If you do this, you'll have fun and won't have a staff member messaging you all the time. Most of the rules are basic and are on most other roleplaying sites.
  
  
• This roleplay is rated round PG-13 as some cursing is allowed and other mature themes are allowed. All mature threads must have a warning in the title so members that don't want to read that don't have to. If in sexual activity, don't go into detail.
  
  
• Make sure to read the Plotlines so you know whats happening here. The plot will develop as does the site. Updates will be posted when there are changes happening so make sure to keep up to date with them.
  
  
• No Godemodeling or powerplaying. I'm sure everyone knows what these are so don't do
  them. If you don't don't be afraid to ask. Us staff members aren't going to bite you for asking.
  
  
• Post length in all posts needs to be OVER 150 words. This isn't difficult and adds up to two good sized paragraphs. There is even a word counter installed within the reply area (below POST MESSAGE) so you can see and not have to count manually.
  
  
• All members need to stay active by being on at least two times a week. If you leave on vacation thats understandable that you can't get on. When joining if you haven't created, or started creating a character your account will be deleted.
  
  
• As you've probably noticed that there are categories besides the information one. The others are hidden from guests so to view them joining is required.
  

❖Characters

• Each account can start with two characters. The more posts you do, and if you follow the rules without having to be asked to, you might be able to talk us staff members into allowing you to have more than two.
  
  
• All character(s) need to have an icon (100X100). Banners are optional but if you have them, they cannot be huge. Keep them within the board size. Using Celebrities will make this simple and easy. If you can't make an icon, there will more than likely be someone here who would love to.
  
  
• When joining your character, make sure to use the form given and you fill it all out according to the guidelines. You must wait to post until your character is accepted. There are claims as well so make sure you post within them.
  

❖Mermaids

• Mermaids can live anywhere in the world and can speak any language that humans speak. By the way, anywhere in the world means only oceans. Mermaids are salt water creatures.
  
  
• Mermaids can have any color of fin as fish have a huge variety, so can mermaids. Hair color must be natural colors, no greens, or oranges. As for any extra like full body in scales, webbed fingers and such you get full rein!
  

❖Hunters

• Most hunters came from the Marlin Fishing Club, or started there. Some come from other places but most in this coastal part came from the fishing club. Ages range in every direction and can really be anyone in the world.
  
  
• Not all hunters have had a tragic childhood or want to catch a mermaid to put on show. Some just want to find one and come from a normal family and lifestyle.
